What Were They Thinking?

Happy Good Friday :)

We're traveling tomorrow so i'm linking early to Hooked On Houses Freaky Friday post.  This is one post I can surely get excited about - linking up BAD real estate photos or even just bad decor and design photos in general.  I have to say, I was tempted to put a couple of, ahem, trouble spots in my own house but as i do have my own house listed, it was fun going through the real estate listings to find my own Freaky Friday entry.  Enjoy.

Here's the listing,

...and here are some take aways...it appears to be a waiting room with all those chairs against the wall - which btw, showcases cacti??
Let's take a closer look at that pool table behind the couch...is that a roof and a sky INSIDE the house. Maybe they worked as designers at Epcot??

and last but not least...the piece de resistance....i hear porn music in the background...bow chicka wow wow...

  1. Oh, my gosh. This really made me laugh! That bathroom is WILD. And you're so right about the chairs lining the walls like it's a waiting room. I've got to go check out the rest of the listing now.

    Thanks for playing along! :-)

  3. Oh my.....doesn't the couch actually look like it's made of the same wood as the coffee table?
    And yeah, that bathroom is.....something!
I think a man must have decorated this!(Not into male bashing, but can't picture a woman decorating like this!)

  4. The appalling thing is that these rooms didn't come cheap- someone really tried! Someone with an aversion to daylight...
The flowers in the bathroom just kill me.

  5. I just looked at the listing, and honestly Sheri, I've led a protected life. I didn't know places like this existed! I don't think I can handle playing with the big kids...

I'm going away now, to lie down.

  6. With all that going on in the bathroom, the person thought the last thing I need is a terra cotta pot with fake ivy right up here--perfect!

Wow, this one is great! :)

  11. We all can't have good taste! It would be fun to see who would buy that.
You can grow impatients on the porch, they love the shade. I go to the Community Thrift in Pine Castle, it's AmVets. There is one on North Edgewater.
Enjoy your day. And thanks for stopping by my blog!

  12. I know I'm late to the party, but I just have to point out how much the living room looks like a Mexican restaurant, so much so that now I'm craving a chimichanga and some chips and queso.
